Tasha is the owner of HTS Home Therapy Services, alongside her husband Joe. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with her Master’s of Physical Therapy and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Tasha has extensive experience with pediatrics, amputees, stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries and a variety of other orthopedic and medical conditions. She brings a high degree of professionalism to her practice of physiotherapy and her enthusiasm is contagious, but her approach to rehabilitation is science-based.

Tasha’s love of working with people to gain more skills and improve their overall health has made physiotherapy an extremely rewarding career for her. She utilizes functional exercise prescription and education to help each individual achieve their goals and get back to the things they love!

Outside of work Tasha enjoys travelling, hiking, camping, snowboarding and spending time with friends and family.

Jeanette has 29 years of experience working in physiotherapy. She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Rehabilitation (BMR-PT). Post-grad, she spent 26 years at the Children’s Hospital, where she treated patients recovering from head injuries, orthopedic trauma and surgery, as well as working with individuals suffering from a variety of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Jeanette’s been with HTS Home Therapy for 8 years, working with clients of all ages and at all ability levels. In addition to her work with Home Therapy, she leads an exercise class for the Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba. Jeanette believes the wide range of her experience—her clients range from 1 to 95—has not only given her valuable perspective but made her work even more exciting.

Outside of work, Jeanette enjoys playing baseball and badminton with her kids, riding her horses, and just staying active.

Mathew graduated with a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Manitoba following his undergraduate degree in psychology. His experience in private practice has allowed him to treat many ailments ranging from musculoskeletal to neurological conditions. He has completed his Orthopedic Level 1 course, as well as a course on treatment options for temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and is excited to continue to broaden his education in other aspects of physiotherapy. Matt enjoys work in home environments to treat clients holistically while addressing functional goals.

Matt enjoys an active lifestyle including soccer (playing, coaching, and refereeing) and golf. He enjoys spending time with his wife and family as well as playing with his dog, Molly. A fun fact about Matt is that he recently returned from a trip of a lifetime where he and his wife climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in the region of Tanzania!

Wing has 15 years of experience working in physiotherapy. She graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy. In 2005 she would go on to complete her masters degree in sports science at The University of Hong Kong. Wing has extensive experience working in schools, where she treated pediatric clients with conditions like Cerebral Palsy and Gross Motor Delay, as well as treating geriatrics in community settings. She also believes that continuous learning is crucial to refining skills and knowledge in physiotherapy. Wing has completed various courses, including most recently the Management of Pediatric Flat Foot.

“I love educating clients and going through the process of rehabilitation with them step by step. I want them to feel they are not alone. We will walk it through together.”

Outside of work, Wing enjoys playing badminton, skiing, and skating with her family and friends. She also spends time playing piano, listening to music, singing and dancing.

Linda Kraemer graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1983. She has worked in BC and Scotland, but most of her career has been in Winnipeg. 36 years of her career has been at Children’s Hospital working with children who have a wide range of needs, but also specializing in respiratory conditions. She also is returning to HTS Home Therapy services, having worked part time with us from 2004-2012. During that time she worked with all ages of clients with a variety of diagnoses. She believes in a collaborative approach to physiotherapy, helping clients and families set and work toward their own therapy goals.

When Linda is not working, she loves to be active outside. If it is winter you can find her on her cross-country skis, snow shoes or downhill skis. In the summer she will be on the trails on her mountain bike or out exploring the province or country, camping along the way.

Jean worked in physiotherapy for 39 years finishing her career with HTS in 2022. Officially retired from the profession, Jean continues to apply her wealth of knowledge acting as a mentor and guide to Tasha and the rest of the team.

Jean graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1981, receiving her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. She has never stopped learning or helping to apply that knowledge with everyone around her; spending time as an instructor with the U of M and many years of educating clients and their families both in the community and school settings. Jean loves the relational nature of physiotherapy; watching clients progress from childhood to later adulthood has enriched her career and made it incredibly fulfilling.

Outside of work, Jean has enjoyed an opportunity to help a Syrian refugee family integrate into their new lives in Winnipeg. She also loves to read and looks forward to babysitting her grand-dog, Leo.

Danielle graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Rehabilitation (BMR-PT). She also holds an honours degree in Psychology with a focus on Behaviour Modification. Danielle’s career has spanned from various positions including private practice with a focus on outpatient orthopedics, home based physiotherapy in the community, and acquired brain injury rehabilitation at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre.

Danielle has a passion for continued learning and professional development. This includes specific physiotherapy training as well as courses that pertain to the overall well being of her clients. In the last year alone Danielle has completed a variety of courses including, Know Pain: A Practical Guide for Persistent Pain Therapy, Non Violent Crisis-Intervention (SMHC), and Neurorehabilitation: Assisting Recovery and Function in Everyday Life Following a Brain injury: Level One.

“I enjoy educating clients and helping them appreciate why certain movements are effective. Oftentimes some teaching really helps people understand and fully participate!”

When Danielle is not working, she spends time drawing, painting, and renovating her home. She also enjoys pilates, yoga and spending time with friends, family and her puppy.
