Danielle Lucyk

Danielle graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in medical rehabilitation (BMR-PT). She also holds an honours degree in Psychology with a focus on Behaviour Modification. Danielle’s career has spanned various positions from private practice with a focus on outpatient orthopedics, to acquired brain injury rehabilitation at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre.

Danielle has a passion for continued learning and professional development. This includes training specific to physiotherapy as well as courses that pertain to the overall well being of her clients. In the last year alone, Danielle has completed Know Pain: a practical guide for persistent pain therapy, non violent crisis-intervention (SMHC), and neurorehabilitation: assisting recovery and function in everyday life following a brain injury Level One.

I enjoy educating clients and helping them appreciate why certain movements are effective. Oftentimes a little explaining really helps people understand and fully participate!”

When Danielle is not working, she spends time drawing, painting, and renovating her home. She also enjoys pilates, yoga and spending time with friends, family and her puppy.
